A hard day’s work

There’s no better feeling than your child giving you a giant hug after a long day of work.

No matter how stressful work was, how long the commute felt, or how many things went wrong, when those arms wrap around you, none of it matters.

That hug says, You’re home. You’re loved. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

It’s a reminder that, to them, you’re not your deadlines or responsibilities. You’re Dad. And sometimes, that’s all you need to be.
