Everyday magic

Watching my two sons learn something new reminds me how much wonder still exists in the world.

Tying their shoes. Making a basket. Catching their first fish.

To them, these aren’t small things. They’re magic.

And seeing their excitement, their determination, their pure joy in discovery? It makes me pause. It makes me appreciate the little things I’ve taken for granted.

Fatherhood has a way of reopening your eyes to curiosity, to possibility, to the beauty in everyday life. Because when they learn, we learn too.
