My biggest challenge when it comes to writing: perfectionism
Perfectionism kills more stories than rejection ever will.
Rejection stings but perfectionism paralyzes.
I tinker and toddle with one paragraph for hours. I rewrite Chapter 1 for the fifteenth time (in two days). I hesitate to hit “publish” because it’s not quite perfect.
Sound familiar?
Perfectionism convinces you that if it’s not flawless, it’s not worth finishing.
But the truth?
Done is better than perfect.
Shared is better than shelved.
Most stories don’t die in submission piles; they die in drafts no one ever reads.
Let go of perfect. Embrace progress. Tell your story anyway.
