    Fascinating take on a classic character, PREY is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and written by Patrick Aison. I really like the idea of taking on an icon character, in this case the Predator, and re-imagining it in a different time period (the Great Plains in 1719) and interacting with a different culture (French colonizers and Commanche tribe). It’s a fast film at about 100 minutes in run time with a lot of action packed sequences that keeps the story moving forward. Aside from the original, this take on the Predator franchise is inventive and entertaining.
